Forthcoming meetings

Meetings are normally held at the Manchester Cathedral Visitor Centre, 10 Cateaton Street, Manchester, M3 1SQ and start at 5:45pm; tea and coffee are available from 5:20pm.

At each meeting an invited speaker will give a talk on a subject of economic or social interest and then there will be questions and discussion. The talk will subsequently be printed and distributed to members and subscribing libraries. Copies may be purchased by non-members.

Visitors
Members are encouraged to bring guests . Unaccompanied Visitors are asked to contact the Secretary at .

Statistical Dinner Club
This is an informal dining club which meets after meetings. The Society entertains the speaker to dinner, after which a member proposes the speaker’s health and he or she is invited to reply. Then discussion on the topic of the evening continues until 9.30pm.

All members and visitors are welcome to attend the dinner; membership of the dining club is included in the charge for dinner. It is necessary to book and make payment in advance via the secretary.
